"My parents, Tom and Elke Lindner got married 1983 and decided to start rock climbing as their way of life. Shortly thereafter, on March 3rd, 1984 I entered the world and within two weeks of birth I was at Joshua Tree, CA in my little craddle watching my parents rock climb. By the age of three, I had already started climbing at a fairly advanced level for my age. I was featured in catalogs and posters by the age of four, and by the age of six I was sponsored and had several photos in the climbing magazines. Pretty much every single weekend of my childhood was spent camping and climbing with my parents. During my 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years, my father took me out of public school for 4 months of the school year and home-schooled me as we traveled around the country living in the back of our pickup truck. We climbed every other day and did school work every other day. By the time I was a teenager, I figured I had slept in a sleeping bag under the stars more than one third of my life!"

"Things haven't changed much throughout my teenage years, and now at the age 22 I am still traveling the world as a professional rock climber. Traveling is a really huge part of my life right now. I want to explore every corner of the Earth developing not only the World's hardest and most beautiful rock climbs, but also developing my own character by gaining the Big Picture of life and the various cultures and landscapes on this Earth. So far I have traveled internationally climbing in Canada, Mexico (2 trips), Argentina, England, France (2 trips), Italy, Spain (2 trips), Germany (2 trips), Greece, and Korea (2 trips). Nationally I have climbed in CA, NV, UT, CO, ID, AZ, OR, TX, IL, KT, RI, and NH, I've been on surfing trips to Hawaii, Costa Rica, and several trips throughout Baja California, Mexico."

"Given the opportunity to stay in a hotel and eat at a restaurant versus camp under the stars while preparing my own food out of my cooler on my stove, I would without a doubt take the latter. Camping and climbing in the great outdoors is who I am and is what makes me happy." - Chris
